Taylor Ray Elementary School Project Scope of Work
- Install automatic fire sprinkler system
- Construct a six classroom addition
- Renovate restrooms, drinking fountains, stage access, and the clinic for ADA
- Adds walls and doors to enclose open concept classrooms
- Remove lockers from classroom areas
- Renovate the administration area to give better visual supervision to the entry area
- Replace carpet and vinyl compostion tile (VCT)
- Renovate ceiling system
- Replace roof
- Replace HVAC system to meet new ASHRAE standards
- Install fully automatic fire alarm system
- Upgrade building communication systems
Project Highlights
Taylor Ray Elementary will look like a new facility upon completion of interior renovations. The administration area will be reorganized to allow better visual supervision of the school entrance. All classrooms will receive walls, doors, and new flooring. The library, gym, and cafeteria will receive new flooring and paint as well. The new addition will complete the building by eliminating two dead-end corridors and forming a loop.
