Meyer Elementary School Project Scope of Work
1. Install new automatic fire alarm system
2. Install new sound system to provide 2-way communication
3. Enclose open concept classrooms
4. Add parking for parents
5. Add handicap access to stage
6. Upgrade restrooms to meet ADA code
7. Improve clinic space and restroom
8. Convert classroom to science room (in new addition)
9. Replace carpet throughout building
10. Construct 6 classroom addition
11. Extend parent pick-up loop
Project Highlights
Phase I, which replaced the chillers and boilers, was completed August 2004.
Phase II will completely remodel the classrooms, library, gym, and cafeteria. These areas will receive new flooring and paint. The classrooms will also receive walls and doors. The admin area will receive new flooring and the nurse's station will be completely reomodeled. Additional parking will be added as well as an extended parent pick-up loop.
